Uber the ever popular on demand ride hailing company has announced that it will be tying up with the TransLoc, a technology company that is involved in building technology products for public transit passengers and agencies. The plan is to integrate Uber into the TransLoc Rider app, which provides real-time bus tracking and route planning.

The planned integration will debut as a pilot program in mid-February in Memphis, Tennessee, and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina and will allow passengers to plan trips that combine public transportation with Uber rides. With this new tie-up the company would now be able to offer last mile connectivity right up until your destination from start to end.
