Air France 747 Forever video series

Air France recently retired the last of the Boeing 747 from its active fleet. In recognition of the great service that the “Queen of the skies” has performed for the airline, the airline put a up a nice compilation of videos detailing how each and every department was involved in keeping the great bird running. You can view the series of videos at the playlist below: Personally, I have been a big fan to the 747s because they are so reminding of the golden age of travel and specially the first class right in its front. British Airways caught up in an advert mess up

BA’s new campaign on which the carrier is estimated to have spent £20 million caused quite a flutter when it was unveiled via Facebook. Apparently in one shot in one of the shots of the 747 it was discovered that they had used their arch rival Virgin Atlantic’s plane. In the ad which talks about the company’s motto “To Fly, To Serve” the 1st of the 3 Boeings shown standing together is a Virgin Atlantic plane which was photoshopped with BA colors but they forgot to change its tail number G-VGAL which belongs to Virgin aircraft based out of Manchester.
